If you don't already know it, we highly recommend the book Groundwater and Wells (ISBN 0-9616456-0-1, also known as "The Johnson Screens book") by Fletcher G. Driscoll (Second Edition, 1986) for a comprehensive study of ground water and the technologies used to locate, extract, treat, and protect this resource.  While increasingly difficult to find, it is considered the "bible" of our industry and a great resource to further your education. If interested in ASR, you should also know the book Aquifer Storage Recovery by R. David G. Pyne (ISBN 0-9774337-0-6, Second Edition, 2005).
